From advertising, business, or other third-party partners, where permitted by applicable law and depending on the services and features we use.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use personal information for the following purposes.
Providing and Fulfilling Our Services

- Process eligible cancellations
- Process approved returns, replacements, and refunds

- 24-Hour Order Cancellation Requests
SpoodyHouse provides a 24-hour cancellation window for orders that have not yet shipped, as described in our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
If you request to cancel an order, we may process your order information, contact information, payment information, order status, fulfillment status, and related communications to:
- Determine whether the cancellation request was submitted within the applicable cancellation window
- Determine whether the order has already been shipped
- Review production, preparation, assembly, or customization status where relevant, particularly for requests received after the 24-hour cancellation window
- Process an eligible cancellation
- Communicate the status of your cancellation request
- Process an applicable refund to the original payment method.
A cancellation request applies before shipment and is separate from our 15-Day Order Protection, which applies after delivery to eligible product or delivery issues.
If a cancellation request is submitted after the 24-hour cancellation window, we may use relevant order and production-status information to determine whether the request can still be accommodated in accordance with our policies.
15-Day Order Protection and Claim Verification
If you report an eligible order issue within 15 days of delivery, we may use your order information, communications, photographs, videos, continuous unboxing video, packaging evidence, and other supporting documentation to:
- Verify reported shipping damage
- Verify manufacturing defects
- Verify missing products or components
- Verify incorrect products or product options
- Determine whether the product is materially different from what was ordered
- Detect or prevent fraudulent or duplicate claims
- Determine the appropriate resolution under our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy.
Depending on the verified issue, the appropriate resolution may include:
- A replacement product
- A replacement component
- An approved return and refund.
The 15-Day Order Protection is not a change-of-mind return period.
Claim Evidence and Continuous Unboxing Videos
For certain claims involving products that arrive damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, our Return, Replacement & Refund Policy requires a continuous unboxing video to help verify the condition of the order when it arrived.
We may process that video together with photographs, packaging evidence, order information, and related communications for purposes including:
- Claim verification
- Determining the condition of the order upon arrival
- Identifying possible shipping damage
- Identifying missing or incorrect components
- Distinguishing manufacturing defects from post-delivery damage
- Fraud and duplicate-claim prevention
- Resolving disputes
- Determining the appropriate resolution.
We may request additional photographs, videos, or information when reasonably necessary to understand or verify an issue.
Nothing in our evidence requirements is intended to limit any consumer or privacy rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted under applicable law.
Claim Evidence and Marketing
Photographs, videos, continuous unboxing videos, packaging evidence, and other materials submitted specifically for:
- Customer support
- 15-Day Order Protection
- Claim verification
- Approved returns
- Replacements
- Refunds
are used for claim administration and related legitimate business purposes.
We will not use claim evidence submitted specifically for these purposes in advertising, social media, testimonials, or other promotional materials without your permission.
This does not prevent us from using reviews, photographs, videos, testimonials, or other content that you separately and voluntarily provide for review, promotional, testimonial, or similar purposes, subject to applicable law.
Returns, Replacements and Refunds
If an eligible claim results in an approved return, replacement, or refund, we may use your personal information to:
- Issue return authorization
- Provide return instructions
- Arrange or administer approved return shipping
- Process returns through our designated U.S. return warehouse
- Track the return shipment
- Inspect and document the returned product where appropriate
- Arrange a replacement product or component

- Communicate with you regarding the status of the resolution.
